FAQ

1.  How old does the cat have to be?

Cats must be at least 12 weeks old and weigh at least 3 pounds. Cats over 8 years of age are not good candidates for this program.

Please fill out the spay neuter request form. You will be contacted by our spay neuter coordinator. Once contacted we will let you know where/when we will be in your area.

3. How does the surgery day work?

Cats will be dropped off in the morning on the day of surgery. Pick up time will be determined when the cats are dropped off, usually between 3- 4pm. ALL CATS/KITTENS MUST BE IN THEIR OWN CARRIER. (Hard plastic carriers are best.)  FERAL CATS/KITTENS MUST BE IN HUMANE CAT TRAPS- NO EXCEPTIONS.

You will need to make arrangements to have your cat(s) picked up on time. WE CANNOT EXTEND THE PICK UP TIME

4. Why are ear tips required for feral cats?

Ear tips are the universal sign that a feral cat has been spayed/neutered. All cats/kittens in humane traps will be given an ear tip- No exceptions.
