Kirby and Zipper

I adopted Kirby and Zipper from the HSMC in January 2006. I'm extremely thankful that I was able to get both of them, because they are so attached to each other. I can't imagine one without the other. Kirby is the sweetest cat I've seen, but I jokingly say that he can never be an outside cat because he has terrible survival skills. He will roll over to have his belly scratched by anyone--he even rolls over in his sleep if he hears someone come over! Zipper is very mischievous. She really likes muffins, bread, and broccoli, so I have to hide those to keep her from stealing them. She's very smart and will find things unless they are locked away in the pantry or a cabinet. (Once she found some muffins in a plastic bag on top of the refrigerator.)

I've attached some pictures of both cats. They're "naked" (no collars), because they figured out how to unsnap the breakaway clasps on their old collars. They have new collars now, but these pictures are a few months old.

I really appreciate all the work that you do at the shelter. Thank you so much for providing a safe and loving environment for these animals!
